Day4. Today is semi-finals’ day. Spain and France among the top four with women and men

Spain and France are going for the double in the FIP Senior Euro Padel Cup in Valencia, which has reached the semi-finals. In the women’s draw, Spain and France – top of the rankings and already qualified after the group stage – were joined by the Netherlands (who beat Italy 4-1) and Sweden, who beat Belgium by the same score.

In the men’s tournament, only Spain benefited from a bye in the quarter-finals, but France managed to advance to the next round thanks to a 4-1 victory over Denmark in the quarter-finals. The Spaniards will face Italy, who defeated Portugal 3-0, in the semi-final at the top of the table, while France now awaits Belgium, who won 3-2 against Sweden in the most evenly matched tie of the day.
