The revolution of FIP Promises: applications open for hosting the 2026 tournaments. And from 2027 the global Under-18 circuit will begin
  • Starting next year, four continental circuits (Europe, America, Asia/Oceania, Africa) with dedicated rankings and Finals

  • The Under-18 circuit will feature 10 international tournaments and a Master Final

The revolution of the FIP Promises circuit is about to take shape. After the final two months of activity in 2025 and following the FIP Promises Finals scheduled next month in Alicante (19-21 December), the International Padel Federation’s circuit dedicated to the NextGen will enter a new era from 2026. Starting today, national federations can submit their applications to host the 2026 tournaments, which will feature a new format designed to further support the development of young talents.

The global structure will be organized into continental circuits across all categories: FIP Promises Europe, FIP Promises America, FIP Promises Asia/Oceania, and FIP Promises Africa, each with rankings (male and female, and for Under-18, Under-16, Under-14, and Under-12 categories) and continent-specific Finals. This model aims to foster competition and growth on a global scale with a regional and widespread approach, while also enhancing accessibility and participation.

Starting in 2027, the new structure of the FIP Promises circuit will also include the launch of a global Under-18 circuit, made up of 10 international tournaments and a Master Final. Participation in this global circuit will be reserved for players with the highest rankings from each continental circuit. At the end of each season, the FIP Promises Award will be presented to the top 10 players of the global circuit, who will be given the opportunity to take part in selected Premier Padel and CUPRA FIP Tour events the following year.

The numbers of the FIP Promises circuit reflect an impressive and continuous expansion of the sport’s grassroots base: from 3 tournaments held in 2021 to 90 in 2025. And starting today, ahead of the upcoming season, national federations can help raise this number even further.
