Litas Kaunas, Romera–Garcia and Luttikhuis–Hemmes take the title

This weekend the CUPRA FIP Tour returned to Lithuania for the FIP Bronze in Kaunas. In the men’s draw, the Spanish pair Jaume Romera (99) and Alberto Garcia (149) won the title, taking a nice revenge after losing the final at the FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup in Perugia in early October. They won in a comeback, 6-7 7-6 6-3, against Marco Cassetta – the most successful player ever in the CUPRA FIP Tour with 13 titles – and José Luis Gonzalez.

In the women’s draw, the victory went to the Dutch team Bo Luttikhuis (91) and Janine Hemmes (93) – also winners of the FIP Silver in Veracruz in July – after the Italian pair Aima–Baldi had to retire during the third set.
