Comunidad Valenciana I: Winning debut for Sharifova and Borrero in 2026

Ksenia Sharifova (33) and Marta Borrero (43) started their 2026 in the best possible way by winning the FIP Bronze Comunidad Valenciana, played at the Family Sport Center. Decisive was the 6–2 6–4 victory in the final against the Spaniards Ainize Santamaria (106) and Coral Alvarez (169). A win that came at the end of a tournament played perfectly, in which Sharifova and Borrero conceded only one set to their opponents.

In the men’s draw, victory instead for Daniel Luna and Adrian Marques, ranked 291 and 100 in the FIP ranking, who won their first international trophy together thanks to a 7–6 3–6 6–4 victory in the final against Javi Rico (111) and Christian Fuster (140).
