February 7, 2026
Among the new pairs of 2026 is certainly the all-Argentine duo formed by Tino Libaak and Alex Chozas. And in the very first tournament of the new year they have already reached the semifinals at the FIP Platinum in Marseille, which has entered its decisive phase. With a double 7-6 victory over Lucho Capra and Victor Ruiz, Tino and Alex earned today’s clash against Javi Garrido and Lucas Bergamini, the number 2 seeds. The other semifinal will feature the top seeds Fran Guerrero and Javi Leal – who advanced thanks to a 7-6 6-4 win over Lucas Campagnolo and Jairo Bautista – against the pair formed by Sanyo Gutierrez and Gonza Alfonso (6-3 6-4 over Sager/Rubini).
The women’s semifinals will instead open the schedule at 1 p.m.: first on court will be Ale Salazar and Ale Alonso (6-1 6-2 over Nogueira/Lujan) against Jimena Velasco and Marta Barrera (2-6 6-1 6-0 over Borrero/Sharifova), followed by Lucia Sainz and Raquel Eugenio (6-3 3-6 7-5 over Martinez/Perez) facing Daiara Valenzuela and Raquel Piltcher, the only unseeded pair and capable of defeating Monica Gomez and Amanda Lopez 6-3 6-4
