February 9, 2026
In the men’s draw of the FIP Bronze Bahrain played this weekend, Aris Patiniotis (68) and Agustin ‘el Loco’ Torre (52), winner last year of the FIP Gold Potosí, triumphed thanks to a 6–4 6–2 victory against the Spaniards Antonio Fernandez (62) and Jose Luis Gonzalez (60), record holders of victories – together with Marco Cassetta – in the CUPRA FIP Tour with 13 wins.
In the women’s seeding, instead, the first international victory of 2025 arrived for Virgina Riera, number 35 in the world, together with the Spaniard Teresa Navarro (57). Decisive was the 6–2 7–5 win in the final against the pair Kutuzova–Petrova. “We are happy to have won our first tournament of 2026. We had good feelings on court, we must continue like this. Now we stay focused on the Riyadh P1,” said Virginia Riera at the end of the ceremony.
