Wadi Padel Tournament, Piltcher-Valenzuela set to challenge Casali-Aima
February 11, 2026
On one side, Carlotta Casali and Clarissa Margherita Aima; on the other, Raquel Piltcher and Daiara Valenzuela. They are the top two pairs on the entry list of the women’s FIP Bronze Wadi Padel Tournament, taking place until Saturday in Wadi El Natrun (Egypt), alongside the men’s FIP Silver event. Both pairs started the season with a semifinal finish. Casali and Aima reached the semis at the FIP Silver in Caen, losing to eventual champions Collombon/Montes, while Piltcher and Valenzuela come from last week’s FIP Platinum in Marseille, where they were beaten in the semifinals by Lucía Sainz and Raquel Eugenio, who went on to win the title.
Casali and Aima lead the draw and will make their debut against Egypt’s Amr and Moldova’s Makhortova. Piltcher and Valenzuela, seeded No. 2, will open their campaign against another home player, Rodayna Fathy, partnering Spain’s Olivia Morales. Also among the top seeds are Dutch internationals Bo Luttikhuis/Janine Hemmes (3) and Dora Chamli, the first African player to win a match in a Premier Padel main draw. The Tunisian will team up with Portugal’s Bruna Albuquerque.
