Aveiro, come-from-behind victory for Under 18 Ferreira-Da Costa

A come-from-behind victory to celebrate the Under 18 title at the FIP Promises Aveiro. On the Portuguese courts of Aveiro Padel Indoor, Salvador Ferreira Nunes Foios Simões and Fabio Da Costa Araujo won the duel against Spain’s Izan Ranera and Samuel Rivas in a match tie-break after losing the first set. Another Portuguese success came in the girls’ event, with Andrea Batlle Achando and Mar Garcia Casanova defeating Maria Francisca Santos and Marina Serrano Herrera.

Candela De Soroa Jimenez and Samantha Fernandez Call are the young champions of the Under 16, defeating Batlle Achando and Garcia Casanova; in the boys’ event of the same category, the Spanish pair Mario Muñoz Polanco and Oscar Cagigas Ortiz stood out. A flawless run for Francisca Cravo and Clara Lorenzo Garcia, winners of the Under 14 without dropping a set; in the boys’ event, the title went to Ruben Benito Lozano and Alberto Parejo Neila. In the Under 12, finally, the trophy went to Salvadore Condenso/Alonso Los Santos Chamorro and to Maria Leonor Cravo and Martina Cao Sierra.
