Fip Promises Ranking System & Points Breakdown

The International Padel Federation (FIP) establishes the official procedure for calculating the FIP Promises Ranking, applicable to all youth categories (U12, U14, U16 and U18, male and female).

FIP PROMISES RANKING 2026

The FIP Promises 2026 Ranking is divided by continents: Africa, America, Asia and Europe.
The FIP Promises Ranking is based on the nine (9) best results obtained by each player in official FIP Promises tournaments during the 2026 season.
Players may participate in an unlimited number of tournaments in their own category and one higher category (maximum two), as allowed by FIP Promises regulations.
All points earned count individually towards the player’s ranking in the category in which they are obtained.

DEFENCE POINTS 2025

Point defence is based on a continuous 52-week cycle, where players must match or better their performance in the same weeks of the previous year to retain points in their ranking.
The loss of points is automatic and points are deleted at the end of the cycle. These will be replaced by the result obtained in the corresponding week of the current year.

CONTINENTAL FIP PROMISES FINALS ENTRY

The entry for the FIP Continental Finals will be determined by the ranking as of 9th December 2026. This is one (1) week before the event and differs from the rest of the Continental Tour event which is two (2) weeks before the event.

BONUS FOR CATEGORY CHANGE

A FIP Promises player who changes category at the end of a year shall receive a percentage of the points obtained in the previous season from their nine (9) best tournaments, valid until the completion of 365 days from the date of obtaining such points, as follows.

• Transition from U12 to U14: 10% of the points obtained in the U12 category.
• Transition from U14 to U16: 10% of the points obtained in the U14 category.
• Transition from U16 to U18: 10% of the points obtained in the U16 category.
• Transition from U18 to Absolute FIP Ranking: 5% of the points obtained in the U18 category.
