March 10, 2026
Camila Ramme and Catarina Santos confirmed their success in Brazil. After winning the FIP Bronze Curitiba last year, the Mexican and the Portuguese players repeated their result by claiming the FIP Bronze Gaúcho. The world numbers 88 and 95 in the FIP ranking secured the title with a comeback victory of 4-6 7-5 6-0 in the final against home players Manuela Schuck — who competed in the FIP Silver Melbourne at the start of the year alongside Italian tennis player Sara Errani — and Cristina Cirne.
“I am very happy to have won my first title of the year here in Brazil, a country I love and feel very connected to. I want to thank Catarina because she was incredible. This is only the beginning and we must continue in this way,” said Camila Ramme at the end of the prize-giving ceremony.
In the men’s draw, the title went to the Argentine pair Santino Contreras and Naim Diaz — claiming their first victory on the CUPRA FIP Tour — who secured a 6-1 6-4 win against their compatriots Santiago Rolla and Fabricio Peiron.
