Chile, Lamatta-Osorio remain Champions in Viña del Mar

At the FIP Promises in Viña del Mar, held at Club Del Bosque, the Chilean NextGen players achieved notable success. In the women’s category, Esperanza Lamatta and Valentina Osorio Vallano dominated the Under-18 division, replicating their victory at last year’s FIP Promises in Viña del Mar. Aurora Candia and Javiera Carvajal triumphed in the Under-16 category. Home players also secured victories in the Under-14 and Under-12 categories, won respectively by the pair Fernanda Salazar–Emilia Carolina Alarcon Araya and the duo Antonia Reyes Torrejon–Sofia Toromoreno.

In addition to the women’s successes, two all-Chilean pairs claimed titles in the men’s categories. Felipe Alonso Castillo Diaz and Baltazar Parra won the Under-12 title, while Tomas Guzman and Joaquin Alegria triumphed in the Under-16 division. In the Under-18 category, Ramiro Videla secured the title partnering Alonso Villavicencio Mancilla. The Argentine duo Vitto Benvenutto and Octavio Garrett won the tournament in the Under-14 draw.
