The draws. Brea and Triay defend the title, Lebron and Stupaczuk opponents in Mexico

The third tournament of the Premier Padel season will take place on a third different continent. After Asia (Riyadh) and Europe (Gijon), the stars of world padel travel to Cancun (Mexico) for the second P2 event of 2026, the first of two consecutive tournaments ahead of the P1 in Miami. A total of 28 pairs will compete in the men’s draw and 24 in the women’s draw, with Juan Lebron and Franco Stupaczuk among the leading names in the men’s event (‘el Lobo’ plays this year with Leo Augsburger and the Argentine with Mike Yanguas), while Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay defend the titles they won in 2025.

MEN Andres Fernandez Lancha and José Diestro or a qualifying pair will be the first opponents for Coello and Tapia, who enter directly in the round of 16, as do the other top seeds. David Gala and Pablo Garcia or ‘the Javis’, Garcia and Barahona, will open the tournament for Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan, champions in Gijon, in the bottom half of the draw along with Lebron and Augsburger, who could face Javi Ruiz and José Luis Gonzalez or Mexican wild cards Diego Arredondo and José Pablo Padilla in the round of 16. Possible quarter-finals: Coello/Tapia (1)-Sanz/Nieto (5), Guerrero/Navarro (6)-Yanguas/Stupaczuk (3), Lebron/Augsburger (4)-Gonzalez/Di Nenno (7), Garrido/Bergamini (8)-Chingotto/Galan (2).

WOMEN The eight seeded pairs in the women’s draw will enter the competition in the second round. The title defence of Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay will begin against Jessica Castelló and Lorena Rufo or Marta Talavan and Sofia Saiz. Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez (2) will instead pursue their first title, beginning their campaign against Alix Collombon and Jana Montes or Bea Caldera and Carmen Goenaga. Two finals at the start of the season for Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero, who will make their debut against Marta Barrera and Jimena Velasco or Ana Catarina Nogueira and Laura Lujan. Possible quarter-finals: Brea/Triay (1)-Icardo/Jensen (5), Guinart/Virseda (8)-Sanchez/Ustero (3), Fernandez/Araujo (4)-Ortega/Calvo (6), Salazar/Alonso (7)-Josemaria/Gonzalez (2).
