The leading pairs in world padel take to the court at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The top-ranked pairs, all on the same court one after another, will headline the day marking the debut of the seeded players in the men’s draw of the Miami Premier Padel P1. Agustin Torre and Curro Cabeza will be the first opponents of Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia; Pincho Fernandez and José Luis Gonzalez will face Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan. Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas will close the day against Pol Hernandez and Guille Collado, a pair in strong form; Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger, finalists in Cancún, will open the afternoon session at 15:00 local time (20:00 CET) against Agustin Gutierrez and Salva Oria. A total of 18 matches are scheduled in Florida, to complete the round of 16 line-up.
WOMEN Sixteen matches will involve the men’s draw, with two in the women’s, where 14 of the 16 pairs have already reached the round of 16, including the top four seeds who benefited from a bye. Wins were recorded by the number 5, 6 and 7 seeds, with a convincing start in the Miami P1 for Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen, Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo, and Ale Salazar and Ale Alonso.
