Viseu, Sanchez-Rico favourites for the title

The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Portugal with the FIP Bronze in Viseu. The top seeds Emilio Sanchez–Josete Rico are the clear favourites for the men’s title. Rico has already claimed victory in Portugal, having won the FIP Silver in Leiria in 2025. In the upper half of the draw alongside them are Ferran Insa and Albert Roglan (4). The pair, after winning two FIP Bronze events in 2025, are seeking their first title of the season. In the lower half of the main draw are Roberto Belmont–Guillem Figuerola (3), Miguel Melero–Juan Pablo Dametto (6), and Adri Naranjo–Pablo Sanchez (8).

In the women’s draw, the leading contenders for the title are Natalia Molinilla–Melania Merino (1). The latter triumphed last year at the FIP Silver in Lisbon. In the upper half of the main draw, alongside the top seeds, are Nati Lopez Diaz and Victoria Kurz (3). In the lower section are Mónica Gómez–Claudia Escacena (2) and Rebeca López–Lucia Micaela Fernandez (4). The latter pair reached the final of the FIP Bronze in Alessandria, Egypt, at the beginning of March.
