No sets lost and only 18 games conceded throughout the tournament: top seeds Iñigo Jofre and David Gala secured victory at the FIP Silver Betclic in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in this manner. In the final, the champions, competing together for the first time, defeated the pair Alberto García–Christian Medina Murphy (6-1 6-2), having previously overcome the Portuguese duo Pedro Araujo and Pedro Graça in the semifinals (6-2 6-4). This marked the first title of the year on the CUPRA FIP Tour for the winners: Jofre had not won a tournament on this circuit since April 2024, while Gala had claimed the FIP Silver in Dubai last October. “I am very happy and excited about this new project – Jofre said following the victory -. We started very strongly by winning the FIP Silver in Ivory Coast. Let’s go, partner: I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds”.
Turning to the women’s draw, Julieta Bidahorria and Marta Caparrós, n.42 and n.31 respectively of the Ranking FIP, became the champions in Ivory Coast by defeating Laura Luján–Leti Manquillo in the final (6-3 6-4). In the semifinals, they had overcome a strong pairing in Nerea Guerra–Carla Fernandez (6-4 6-4), who had already won two CUPRA FIP Tour tournaments in 2026: the FIP Bronze and Silver events in Melbourne. For the women’s main draw winners, the title in Abidjan was also their first of the year on the Tour.
