Denmark, NextGen show in Kolding

The young padel talents were also in action over the weekend at the FIP Promises in Kolding, Denmark, where they competed for the Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 boys’ titles. In the latter category, Junior Brydolf and Iker Zamora Garcia claimed the title thanks to victory in a highly contested final, which ended with a double 7-6 scoreline, against Filip Sterner and Eddi Svensson. In the semi-finals, the champions had comfortably defeated Malte Linsh-Filip Dahlqvist (6-2 6-3). That pair responded by winning the Under 16 category, overcoming Herbert Fink Ubdy-Lasse Rich Leiholm in the title match (6-2 6-0). The pairs Ludwig Wallen-Gustav Berg and Albin Sundell-Carl Appelqvist triumphed respectively in the Under 14 and Under 12 categories.

 

Alongside the Promises FIP Tour event in Kolding over the weekend, the FIP Bronze Mos Mosh Gallery Kif Padel Masters was also held, where Iago Fuertes-Albert Roglan Pons (men’s) and home players Maria Rasmussen-Gitte Haxen (women’s) were crowned champions.
