Dametto and Calleja back in the spotlight in Chile

The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Chile for its fifth stop of the 2026 season, with the FIP Bronze in Copiapó, where a strong men’s field will begin the main draw on Friday.

Top seeds Juan Pablo Dametto and Felipe Calleja head the draw after already claiming another Chilean FIP Bronze title this year, in Viña del Mar at the end of May. Behind the No. 1 seeds are another Argentine partnership, Matias Nicolas Prado and Luciano Puppo, with the latter having reached the final of the tournament in the 2025 edition.

The Chile-Argentina axis dominates the top positions in the draw. Seeded third are Chile’s Cristobal Martinez and Argentina’s Francisco Britos, followed by Thiago Pinto and Pablo Molina Tofanelli (4).

Also among the seeded pairs are Emilio Juan De Dios Benitez Arrien and Axel Guevara (5), together with Mauricio Rivero and Nicolas De Marco (6). Representing the home nation are Matías Joaquín Negrete Oliva and Daniel Salinas Ordenes (7), along with Angel Torres and Joaquin Nicolas Escalona Linz (8).
