Cravo and her connection with Portugal: dominates in Paredes alongside Stromgren

PAREDES – Another tournament in Portugal, another successful weekend for home player Francisca Cravo. The player secured a double triumph at FIP Promises Paredes II, partnering Sweden’s Tilde Stromgren to win the Under 16 and Under 14 girls’ categories. With this double triumph, Cravo adds to her list of victories this season in her home country. In almost 10 months, she has become champion at the home legs of the FIP Promises Tour in Paredes, Setubal, Viseu and Elvas. Cravo also triumphed at the Spanish FIP Promises event in Badajoz.

 

There was also plenty of action and spectacular shots in the men’s draw. In the Under 18 category, the title went to the duo of Alvaro Abad Diaz e Rafael Reyes Moreno, following their victory over Pol Cervilla Mas and Assier Martinez Castillo in the title decider. In the Under 16 and Under 14 age categories, the winners were Claudio Redendo Ruiz-Alberto Barril Ramos and Francisco Sa-Joao Afonso Simoes, respectively.
