Born in Seville, Spain, in 1989, Francisco “Paquito” Navarro began playing padel as a child in his hometown and quickly emerged as one of the most talented players of his generation. After a successful junior career, including a World Padel Junior National Couples Championship under 18 in Buenos Aires in 2007, he established himself among the leading players on the international circuit.
Navarro became one of the defining figures of the World Padel Tour era, reaching the No. 1 position in the world in 2019 alongside Juan Lebrón. The pair formed one of the most successful partnerships of their generation before separating at the end of the season. Throughout his career, Navarro has also partnered with several of the sport’s leading players, including Pablo Lima, Martín Di Nenno and Federico Chingotto.
In 2022, Navarro won his first Premier Padel title at the Qatar Major in Doha and in 2025, claimed the FIP Platinum Sevilla alongside Lucas Bergamini, winning the tournament in his home city.
Navarro has also enjoyed a distinguished international career with Spain, winning three FIP World Cups in Calgary in 2008, Riviera Maya in 2010 and Doha in 2021.
He has also won 25 World Padel Tour titles (2 Master Finals, 7 Masters and 16 Opens)
