Born in Granada, Spain, in 2002, Miguel Yanguas started playing padel at a young age and quickly established himself as one of the most promising players of his generation. He developed through the Spanish junior circuit, winning the World Padel Junior National Couples Championships under 14 in Mexico City in 2015 and under 16 in Malaga in 2017.
Yanguas made his breakthrough on the professional circuit at a young age, combining his physical power, defensive ability and aggressive style to rise through the rankings. He claimed his first Challenger title in Albacete in 2021, followed by another in Calanda in 2022, establishing himself among the leading young players on the World Padel Tour.
In 2023, Yanguas continued his rise by winning his first World Padel Tour title at the Reus Open 500. That same year, he also claimed the FIP Platinum Sardegna in Cagliari, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the Cupra FIP Tour.
In 2024, Yanguas won his first Premier Padel title at the New Giza P2 in Egypt. He has subsequently partnered with several of the leading players on the professional circuit, including Franco Stupaczuk and, later, Coki Nieto. By August 2026, Yanguas had reached a career-best No. 8 position in the FIP ranking.
He has also won 3 titles on the Cupra FIP Tour (FIP Star Elche 2020, FIP Platinum Sardegna 2023 and FIP Platinum Albania 2026)
