Visa Requirements:

All foreign athletes, without exception, need to have an eligible VISA to compete in Indonesia. The only accepted VISAS are:

KITAS (Work VISA) or its equivalent.

KITAP (Permanent resident VISA) or its equivalent.

C8A Sports VISA.

D8 Sports VISA.

Athletes who do not have a KITAS or KITAP will need the Sports VISA.

PBPI (The Padel Federation of Indonesia) will help bridge athletes with immigration to process their VISAS. For this, PBPI needs the athletes to send to [email protected] the following information:

Scan/Picture of their passport.

Profile picture (in colour).

Which VISA the athlete wants (see below).

Agreement that the athlete will pay for the VISA at tournament desk or through bank transfer if they are unable to arrive to the tournament.

DEADLINE TO SEND INFORMATION: 3×24 hours when athletes receive an email from [email protected] once registrations for the FIP Silver Bali closes. Any applications after this deadline will not be undertaken by PBPI. VISAS take 5 working days. It is recommended for athletes to send their information in advanced to the secretariat email.

CRUCIAL: Athletes cannot be inside Indonesia to process this VISA. Athletes must be outside the country and plan accordingly to enter when VISA is emitted.

An athlete VISA does not allow the athlete to hold coaching programs in Indonesia. We understand many athletes would like to do so once in the country, and we will inform soon on if there will be a procedure that will allow athletes to do so on their visit.

THE TWO SPORTS VISAS:

a) C8A Sports VISA: The C8A is a single-entry sports VISA with 90 days validity. Once inside the country, the athlete can compete in all sporting events endorsed by PBPI (which includes FIP and various local competitions) within those 90 days. If the athlete leaves the country before the 90 days, the VISA automatically expires.

Cost: 2,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah, approximately 111 USD

b) D8 Sports VISA: The D8 is a multiple-entry sports VISA with 60 days validity. Once inside the country, the athlete can compete in all sporting events endorsed by PBPI (which includes FIP and various local competitions) within those 60 days. If the athlete leaves the country, they can re-enter with the same VISA as long as its still active within those 60 days.

Cost: 2,500,000 Indonesian Rupiah, approximately 140 USD

NOTE: Family members, guardians, coaches, friends of athletes traveling can enter Indonesia with a Visitor VISA. They do not need to process an athlete VISA if they do not compete in the tournament.
