The FIP Promises Tour is the international junior circuit of the International Padel Federation (FIP), aimed at underage players and organised into different categories according to the age of the participants (U12, U14, U16 and U18).
In order to take part in a FIP Promises tournament it is necessary to be a minor; to hold a valid national licence number or, failing that, a temporary licence if you do not belong to an affiliated federation; and to have an active PadelUNO account.

The request will move to pending approval status and will be reviewed by FIP staff. Once accepted, the player will be able to access their profile with their credentials.
Yes. As you are a minor, you will need authorisation from your legal guardian in order to register with PadelUNO and take part in official competitions of the FIP Promises circuit.
The process for obtaining a licence number depends on your nationality. If your nationality corresponds to an affiliated federation, you must contact that federation directly to obtain your number.
If there is no affiliated federation for your nationality, you must request a temporary licence from FIP at the following email address: [email protected], which will be valid until the end of the year.

The FIP Promises circuit has four categories:
- U12
- U14
- U16
- U18
The age criteria are determined by the calendar year of the competition:
- In U12, the player must not turn 13 during the year of the Competition.
- In U14, the player must not turn 15 during the year of the Competition.
- In U16, the player must not turn 17 during the year of the Competition.
- In U18, the player must not turn 19 during the year of the Competition.
Players must find and select their partner on their own. Registration for the tournament must be completed jointly through the official PadelUNO platform.

The presence of a coach is only authorised in the U16 and U18 categories. In the lower categories it is not permitted to have a coach on the bench.
The Continental Finals are the continental final stages of the FIP Promises circuit, in which the players who have qualified through the tournaments played during the season take part.
The top 16 players in each category of the Continental circuit over the course of the year may take part, provided that they meet the qualification criteria established by FIP during the corresponding season.

The CUPRA FIP Tour is the official international professional circuit of the International Padel Federation (FIP), made up of tournaments held in different countries which award points for the official FIP ranking.
All players who hold a valid national licence issued by their federation of origin and who meet the registration requirements established in the CUPRA FIP Tour Rulebook for each tournament may take part.
Your national licence number depends on your nationality. You must therefore obtain a national licence number corresponding to your country of birth and to the country of your valid passport.

Changes of partner may only be made while registration for that tournament is open; once registration has closed, no changes of any kind may be made.
The points awarded vary according to the category of the tournament. Each tournament awards a specific number of points for the FIP ranking as established in the official regulations in force. You may consult it through the following link:
The CUPRA FIP Tour is currently made up of the following tournament categories:
- FIP Platinum
- FIP Gold
- FIP Silver
- FIP Bronze
Each category awards a different number of points for the official FIP ranking and may have different sporting and organisational requirements according to the regulations in force.
The FIP Beyond Tour is the official amateur circuit of the International Padel Federation (FIP), made up of six different categories, including five senior categories.
It is considered an amateur circuit because the points obtained do not count towards the CUPRA FIP Tour ranking. The Beyond circuit has its own independent ranking.

In the Beyond circuit, each player may take part in their corresponding age category and in the category immediately below it, provided that both categories are open at the tournament.
Should your age category not be available at a particular tournament, you may register in the two lower categories that are open.

The FIP Championships cover the global planning, management, supervision and standardisation of all international national team competitions. These competitions are organised by National Federations, Provincial Federations or by private promoters appointed by the National Federation itself, always under the supervision of FIP.
During this year and the coming years, and for the first time, the competition structure will be implemented on each continent, established in the absolute, junior and senior categories. The competitions are as follows:
- FIP Continental Padel Cup (Phase 1 in Europe and Phase 2 + Final 8 in America, Asia and Africa)
- FIP Junior Continental Padel Cup (Europe, America, Asia and Africa; with their respective phases and Final 8 according to the number of entries)
- FIP Senior Continental Padel Cup (Europe, America, Asia and Africa)
- FIP World Cup
- FIP Junior World Cup
- FIP Senior World Cup
These competitions are aimed at national federations and are played by teams. Depending on the event, it will be necessary to comply with specific participation regulations.
The national federations will be responsible for selecting the players who will represent their country in the competition, following the FIP eligibility regulations.
That competition format no longer exists in any category of the FIP Championships. In order to give due prominence to the other FIP Tours, this type of competition is no longer played.
National Federations or players interested in taking part in pairs competitions may do so through the corresponding FIP circuits: FIP Promises, CUPRA FIP Tour and FIP Beyond.
Registrations for the Olympic events are made through the National Olympic Committees (NOC). As soon as the event is officially announced on our channels, the federations or interested parties must contact their corresponding NOC directly in order to begin the registration process.

A FISU event is a competition organised by the International University Sports Federation, the body responsible for university sport worldwide.
The following may generally take part:
- University students; or
- Recent graduates
- Within the age range established by FISU for each event
In addition, athletes must:
- Meet the sporting criteria of their national federation/nomination
- Be officially selected by their national university delegation
Registrations for FISU events are made through the National University Sports Federations (NUSF). As soon as the event is officially announced on our channels, the federations or interested parties must contact their corresponding NUSF directly in order to begin the registration process.
