Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1997, Federico Chingotto started playing padel at the age of five. He began to make his mark on the professional circuit in 2016, when he formed a long-standing partnership with Juan Tello. The pair quickly established themselves as one of the leading duos in Argentina before moving to Spain to compete against the world’s best.
Chingotto and Tello became one of the longest-running partnerships in professional padel, reaching their first major World Padel Tour final in 2019. Chingotto claimed his first WPT title in 2020 and continued to establish himself among the world’s elite. He later partnered with Martín Di Nenno, reaching the WPT Master Final in Barcelona in 2022.
In 2023, Chingotto joined forces with Paquito Navarro and ended the World Padel Tour era by winning the Master Final in Barcelona, the final tournament in the history of the circuit. He also claimed the FIP Platinum Sardegna in Cagliari, one of the most prestigious tournaments on the Cupra FIP Tour.
In 2024, Chingotto partnered with Alejandro Galán, forming one of the most successful pairings of the modern era. The duo quickly established themselves among the leading pairs on the Premier Padel circuit and have remained among the world’s top-ranked players.
Chingotto has won two FIP World Cups with Argentina, in Dubai in 2022 and Doha in 2024. In 2025, he and Galán became the inaugural FIP World Cup Pairs champions in Kuwait. He also won the World Padel Junior National Couples Championship under 16 with Argentina in Buenos Aires in 2013.
He has won 21 titles on the major professional circuits in the history of padel:
2 World Padel Tour (1 Master Final and 1 Open)
19 Premier Padel Tour (4 Majors, 9 P1s and 6 P2s)
He has also won 1 FIP Platinum title on the Cupra FIP Tour (Sardegna 2023) and 1 FIP World Cup Pairs title (Kuwait 2025).
