Javier Garrido, born in Córdoba, Spain, in 2000, began playing padel at a young age and quickly established himself as one of the most promising talents of his generation. His powerful left-handed game and attacking style helped him progress rapidly through the Spanish junior and professional circuits.
A standout moment in his junior career came in 2017, when he won the World Padel Junior National Couples Championship under 18 in Málaga. He continued his development on the professional circuit, claiming three World Padel Tour Challenger titles in Lerma in 2021 and Albacete in 2021 and 2022.
Garrido has competed extensively on the Premier Padel circuit, sharing the court with several of the leading players in the world and establishing himself as a regular presence at the highest level of international competition. His performances have also seen him rise among the leading players in the FIP ranking.
In 2026, Garrido claimed the FIP Gold Abidjan, adding an important international title to his career and continuing his progression on the Cupra FIP Tour.
