Born in Pamplona, Spain, in 2000, Jon Sanz developed through the Spanish padel system and quickly established himself as one of the country’s most promising young players. Known for his aggressive style, versatility and powerful game, he progressed through the professional ranks and became a regular presence among the world’s best players.
Sanz made his breakthrough on the professional circuit during the World Padel Tour era, claiming Challenger titles in Getafe and Torrent in 2022.
In 2024, Sanz formed a successful partnership with Jorge “Coki” Nieto. The duo produced a remarkable end to the season, winning the Bordeaux P2 before completing their campaign with victory at the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona, where they defeated Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia in the final, ending the pair’s historic 47-match winning streak.
He has also won 2 titles on the Cupra FIP Tour (FIP Rise Ceuta 2022 and FIP Gold Belgrade 2026)
