Born in Moraleja, Spain, in 1996, Paula Josemaría initially pursued tennis before turning her full attention to padel. Her left-handed game, powerful attacking style and exceptional ability to accelerate the ball quickly established her as one of the most dangerous players on the professional circuit.
Josemaría rose to prominence during the World Padel Tour era, becoming one of the leading players in women’s professional padel. Her partnership with Ariana Sánchez proved particularly successful, with the pair establishing themselves among the dominant duos at the top of the world rankings and consistently competing for the biggest titles.
The Spanish star has continued her success on the Premier Padel circuit, maintaining her position among the world’s elite and adding numerous major titles to an already outstanding career. Her consistency at the highest level has made her one of the most successful players of her generation.
Josemaría has also enjoyed an exceptional international career with Spain, winning three FIP World Cups in 2021, 2022 and 2024. In 2025, she also became the inaugural FIP World Cup Pairs champion in Kuwait.
