Ayia Napa Protaras Cyprus, Second win in 2025 for Camila Fassio and Monica Gomez as a team

Camila Fassio (rank 78) and Monica Gomez (rank 70) won the women’s draw at the FIP Bronze Ayia Napa in Cyprus. This is their second win together in 2025, after the one at the FIP Silver Bristol, where they beat Alicia Cañellas and Ariadna Cañellas Rodero in the final, 6-1 6-4.

“I’m very happy about our win and the level we showed on court. We’re improving more and more, and now we look forward to the next tournaments, hoping to win again. Thanks to all the organizers, it was amazing to play here in Cyprus,” said Camila Fassio after the prize ceremony.

In the men’s draw, the winners were Manuel Castaño and Nicolas Suescun, now ranked 114 and 98, after beating Alvaro Montiel and Flavio Abbate (winner of 10 titles in the CUPRA FIP Tour, second in the all-time list behind Marco Cassetta, who has 11) in the final with a score of 7-5 3-6 6-3.
