Damac Abu Dhabi, Hossam-Lacamoire and Serrano-Garcia win and move up in the ranking

Youssef Hossam and Julian Lacamoire in the men’s category, and Carla Serrano and Aitana Garcia in the women’s category are the winners of the FIP Bronze Damac Abu Dhabi, played this weekend.

In the men’s final, Hossam and Lacamoire won against the local players Icardo-Jurado with a score of 6-3 7-5. Now ranked number 138 and 147 in the world, they get their first international win of 2025, after winning three titles (FIP Rise) in 2024.

“I’m very happy to win this trophy in Abu Dhabi. I want to thank Youssef for this great week. Now we focus on the next tournaments and our future goals,” said Julian Lacamoire after the final.

It is also the first international win of 2025 for Carla Serrano (rank 99) and Aitana Garcia (rank 93) in the women’s draw. They beat the top seeds Carolina Navarro (a padel legend and former world number one) and Carmen Castillo (winner of the FIP Bronze La Cala) with a score of 6-3 1-6 7-5.
