Fastweb Perugia, another record 183 pairs registered for the event in Italy
November 7, 2025
Another week, another FIP Promises tournament, another record. After the 171 pairs registered in Lesigny (France), now comes the 183 taking part in the FIP Promises Fastweb in Perugia. The Italian city, which last week also hosted the FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup, is getting ready to welcome nearly 400 athletes from all regions of Italy as well as from the rest of Europe and the world.
Players from Spain, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Argentina, and Chile will also be competing. Eleven nations will take part across eight draws — from Under 18 to Under 12, both male and female categories — for four days that offer a glimpse into the future of world padel. Perugia thus becomes the second-largest tournament in the history of the FIP Promises circuit in terms of registered pairs, overtaking both Lesigny and Alicante (171). At the top of the list remains Málaga, with 222 pairs. But the numbers keep growing every week.
