April 17, 2026
Finals day has arrived in Egypt. The Premier Padel Newgiza P2 is ready to crown its champions, with the top two seeds set to contest both the men’s and women’s titles. Play begins at 16:00 with the women’s final, as Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay face Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez for the third consecutive time; this will be followed by the men’s final, featuring defending champions Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan against Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas, champions in 2024.
MEN The men’s title will therefore be contested by the pairs who have won the last two editions of the Newgiza P2. Stupaczuk and Yanguas secured their place in the final with a 6-1 6-4 win over Edu Alonso and Juan Tello in the first semi-final; they were followed by ‘Chingalan’, who defeated Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz 6-3 6-4 to earn the opportunity to claim their third title of 2026 after Gijon and Miami. It is the first final of the season for Stupaczuk and Yanguas.
WOMEN Earlier in the day, the top two seeds in the women’s draw also secured their places in the final. Bea Gonzalez and Paula Josemaria, champions in Miami, defeated Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero 6-2 6-3; then Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay, winners this season in Gijon and Cancun, overcame Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo 6-0 6-3 in one hour. For the third consecutive time, Brea, Triay, Josemaria and Gonzalez will contest the title: each pair has won one of the previous finals, with the number 1 seeds victorious in Cancun and the number 2 seeds in Miami.
