Elche, second title for Santigosa–Sintes

Young players took centre stage at the FIP Bronze in Elche, where four talents earned the applause of the crowd by securing the title and 40 points in the FIP Ranking. The men’s draw at Padel Tiro Pichón crowned 19-year-old Dani Santigosa alongside Marc Sintes: the No. 3 seeds delivered a dominant run, claiming the title with a final victory over fellow young players Manu Castaño and Juani Rubini (6–4 6–3) without dropping a set. For Santigosa and Sintes, this marks their second title of the year on the CUPRA FIP Tour, following their success at the FIP Silver in Caen in January.

Under-20 players also featured prominently in the women’s tournament, where 19-year-old Noemi Aguilar and 18-year-old Amanda Lopez claimed the title, defeating Claudia Escacena and the young Maria Delgado, born in 2010, in three sets (4–6 6–3 6–2) in the final. For Aguilar, this is her second FIP Bronze title of the year, following her win in Syracuse last month. “A truly incredible weekend, on and off the court, which we were able to conclude in the best possible way,” she said.
