April 20, 2026
After the defeats suffered in the finals of their home FIP Bronze events held in Santa Maria and Joinville, the Brazilians Manuela Schuck and Cristina Cirne succeeded in winning their first title of the year in their own country. The pair claimed victory in the FIP Bronze of Ijuí by defeating their compatriots Fernanda Abarzúa-Alessandra Abbud (6-7 7-6 6-2) in a closely contested final. In the semi-finals, the champions had overcome Catalina Arancibia-Kimberley Ahumada Carrasco (6-3 6-3). For Cirne, this was her first title of the year on the CUPRA FIP Tour, while Schuck had already won the FIP Bronze of Aguascalientes, Mexico.
In the men’s draw, the winning pair was Juani De Pascual and Franco Dal Bianco, who, after defeating Matias Segura and Juan Pablo Andrada (6-4 6-4) in the semi-finals, beat Naim Horacio Diaz and Santino Contreras (6-3 7-6) in the final of the tournament. The champions had already won a tournament together this year on the circuit: the FIP of Joinville in March. Individually, Dal Bianco had won the FIP Bronze of San Antonio, while De Pascual had become champion at the FIP Bronze events of Burriana, Spain, and Agrigento, Italy.
