Celebrations in Centurion, South Africa, for Joshua Paul Greyling and Muhammed Dayyan Chand. The home player and the Botswana athlete secured their first victory in the Under 18 boys’ category at the FIP Promises event held over the weekend at Balwin Padel – Munyaka, where they defeated the surprise Lebanese pair Adam Safieddine and Ali Jafaar in the final. With this success, Joshua Greyling climbed 16 positions in the African FIP Promises Under 18 Ranking, entering the top 20 (19th place). Chand, meanwhile, is now among the top ten, in ninth position.
In the girls’ category of the same age group, the title went to Caterina Frazzitta and Imaan Valli, both from South Africa, who won the final against compatriots Aaliyah Hartnick and Tasiyah Gani.
