May 6, 2026
The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Asia with the FIP Bronze Reap Samui in Thailand. Following her victory last June at the FIP Bronze in Phuket alongside Daiara Valenzuela, Nika Sluzhiteleva will attempt to secure a second title in the asian country, partnering Blanca Arriola Cerrejón, recent finalist at the FIP Bronze Cyprus I. The two players are positioned in the lower half of the draw alongside Japan’s Kae Tokumoto and Saki Tsukamoto. In the opposite half are FIP Bronze Doha winner Alba Pérez, who will compete with Alba Gallardo, and the pair formed by Alena Vasileva and Kotomi Ozawa, who claimed the FIP Bronze Hong Kong II title at the end of March.
In the men’s draw, the title contest will feature Sten Richters-Albert Trillas Garcia and Jordi Casanova-Sergio Icardo. Richters is aiming for his second title of the year after his victory in January with Simone Cremona at the FIP Bronze in Melbourne. In the same city, Casanova secured the FIP Silver title at the start of the year alongside Miguel Morales. Also entered in Samui are João Maria Caiano-Antonio Luque, Miguel González-Giorgio Soemarno and Asier Martínez-Héctor Vázquez.
