Indonesia, Sandra Bellver chases third title of the year

Following the two titles won in the first part of the season at the FIP Bronze Houten and Cyprus I, Sandra Bellver arrives in Indonesia to compete for the FIP Bronze Yogyakarta. The Spanish player secured both 2026 titles alongside Melania Merino; this time, however, she will compete with Singapore’s Novela Putria. Their main rivals are the finalists of the FIP Bronze Singapore II, Elsa Terranova and Angelina Neizvestnaya, the tournament’s second seeds. Also competing in Indonesia is Patricia Ribeiro, who last year in the Asian continent triumphed at the FIP Bronze Samui in Thailand. Ribeiro will take part in this CUPRA FIP Tour event alongside Carla Serrano. Also in focus in Yogyakarta is Kotomi Ozawa, winner of the FIP Bronze Hong Kong II this year, who will partner Jessica Palma. The main draw of this event will begin on 22 May and conclude on 24 May.

In the men’s draw, the title battle will feature Miguel Melero-Pablo Reina, finalists of the FIP Bronze Alexandria (Egypt), and Alejandro Calvo-Fran Ramirez. The former aim to win their first CUPRA FIP Tour title of the year. The latter share the same objective, having recently reached the quarter-finals of the FIP Bronze London and Cyprus I. Also to watch are two other pairs in the draw: Miguel Gonzalez-Ahmed Al Barwani and Adrian Baamonde-Bohou Zhang. The tournament wild cards are Micheal Leonard Sungkono-Jones Pratama and Panji Untung Setiawan-Desta Ina Magendra.
