May 11, 2026
The FIP Bronze Prishtina has concluded, marking the first historic stop of the CUPRA FIP Tour in Kosovo. The top seeds in the women’s draw, Victoria Kurz and Nati López Díaz, were crowned champions following their straight-sets victory in the final against Louise Bahurel and Ivet Val López (6-3 6-2). The two players had previously secured another title in April at the FIP Bronze Cyprus I. “Champions of the FIP Bronze Prishtina – said López Díaz after the win -. I am very happy to have won our second title together. I am proud of the work we have done between competition weeks”. Kosovo is among the 17 new countries that in 2026 will host, or have already hosted, a tournament on the circuit, where — according to data from the World Padel Report 2025 by the International Padel Federation — there are already 3,000 amateur players.
The men’s title was lifted by the Dutch pair Julian Prins and Youp De Kroon. The duo defeated Pepe Aliaga and Pau Miñano in the final (7-6 6-4), while in the semi-finals and quarter-finals they had overcome Jaume Romera-Sergio Nieto (6-3 5-7 6-4) and the French pair Julien Seurin-Thomas Vanbauce (7-5 3-6 7-5), respectively. “We have concluded this four-week journey by taking home our fifth international title – said Prins and De Kroon in a joint statement -. After being away from home for three weeks and going through many challenging moments during the weeks in Asia, this title feels even more special. Congratulations also to our opponents in the final for their tournament. There is not much time to celebrate as we will only be home for a day and a half before travelling again for our next tournament in Poland. See you there”.
