Zambia, Evelyn Ferguson and Maleeha Arbi dominate across two categories

 

The first historic edition of the FIP Promises event in Lusaka, Zambia, has concluded, with four boys’ draws (Under 12, 14, 16 and 18) and two girls’ draws (Under 14 and 16) contested. In the debut of the FIP Promises Tour, the NextGen of padel competed on the courts of the Summits Sport Arena.

 

In the girls’ events, Evelyn Ferguson and Maleeha Arbi achieved a double triumph, winning both the Under 14 and Under 16 categories. In the boys’ draws as well, one player secured two titles: Zeke Roulstone. In the Under 18 category, he triumphed alongside Morne Liebenberg, while in the Under 16 event he lifted the title partnering Fayzaan Anverali. Hussein Idris Patel and Muhammad Kardamey were crowned champions in the Under 12 category.
