All the Champions from the Valladolid Event

Closely contested matches, spectacular shot-making and a strong desire to compete and enjoy the game were the defining features of the FIP Promises event in Valladolid, Spain, where the young talents of padel competed across six draws, three men’s and three women’s, in this stage of the FIP Promises Tour.

 

In the boys’ Under-18 category, Pablo Chacon Diaz and Leon David Ruiz Shannon claimed the title by defeating Ruth Petit Segarra and Aina Etxebarria in the final after a closely contested match that was decided in a super tie-break (7-6 2-6 10-8). In the boys’ Under-16 category, Ian Garcia Calvo and Jaime Rodriguez Gonzalez lifted the winners’ trophy. In the girls’ competitions, meanwhile, Maria Mora Sanz and Celia Alarcon Garcia, and Samantha Fernandez Call and Marina Serrano Herrera claimed the titles in the Under-18 and Under-16 categories respectively.
