Georgia, Richters-Melendez take the throne in Tbilisi

From team-mates to opponents competing for a tournament title. Sten Richters, partnering Pedro Melendez, became FIP Bronze Georgia champion after defeating Simone Cremona in the final, the player with whom he won the FIP Bronze Melbourne title in Australia this year. On this occasion, the Italian competed alongside Jaume Romera Barceló. Richters and Melendez triumphed in a closely contested final, winning 7-6 7-5. In the semi-finals, they had defeated the No.4 seeds, Alejandro Calvo and Fran Ramirez, with a score of 6-4 6-3.

A dream tournament for the partnership of Vilena Petrova and Vlada Kutuzova. The two players became champions after defeating the two highest-ranked pairs in the draw. In the final, the winners overcame the No.1 seeds, Camille Sireix and Tess De Vocht, in a third-set tie-break after a closely fought encounter (6-7 6-3 7-6). The Petrova-Kutuzova duo had previously eliminated Maaike Betz and Liza Groenveld in the semi-finals, winning 6-3 4-6 6-3.
