Landáburu and Kviatkovski triumph in Jakarta
July 13, 2026
The Indonesian stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour has concluded: Pablo Landáburu and Kevin Uriel Kviatkovski became FIP Bronze Jakarta champions after defeating the pair favoured to win the title, and the tournament’s No.1 seeds, Diego Arredondo-Cristobal Garcia, in the final (7-6 6-2). In the semi-finals, the winners had defeated Irfandy Hendrawan-Juan Carlos Gama Gonzalez 6-1 7-5. This year, Landáburu had already secured a title on the circuit: the FIP Bronze Kuala Lumpur, won in April alongside Luis Oliver Artigas. For Kviatkovski, this was his first success of the season on the CUPRA FIP Tour.
In the women’s event, Elsa Terranova-Angelina Neizvestnaya became champions in Jakarta. However, the way this title was achieved was not the one they would have wanted. In the final, their opponents Fitriana Sabrina and Fitriani Sabatini retired with the score at 6-1 3-0 in favour of the champions. Terranova and Neizvestnaya had recorded a significant victory in the semi-finals, where they defeated the No.1 seeds, home player Novela Putria and Sandra Bellver, 6-1 6-1. The latter had already won the FIP Bronze Yogyakarta in Indonesia in April and arrived in Jakarta as favourites for the title.
