Home Victory for Temmermans-De Vleeschouwer en Koksijde

Winning in their own country is one of the greatest feelings a player can experience during their career. Jolien Temmermans and Elisa De Vleeschouwer know this well, having triumphed on home soil in Belgium by winning the Under-16 title at the FIP Promises in Koksijde. The two young champions defeated Spain’s Emma Diaz Andreu and Anna Carolina Leder in the title match with a clear 6-2 6-1 victory. Temmermans and De Vleeschouwer dominated the tournament, not conceding a single set to their opponents throughout the competition.

In the men’s draw, Loris Morvan and Elliot Verraghen became Under-18 champions thanks to their victory in the final against Aaron Rodriguez Luna and Assier Martinez Castillo. After losing the first set 7-5, the winners responded by taking the second set 6-3 and the super tie-break 10-1. In the Under-16 and Under-14 categories, Vince Liekens-Maxim Struyf and Juan Segura-Lucas Terminet respectively claimed the titles.
