Kurz-Koek ready to shine in Indonesia

From China to Indonesia. After their victory last week at the FIP Silver in Pingyuan, Victoria Kurz and Marcella Koek are aiming to lift another trophy at the FIP Bronze in Banten. Kurz has won three CUPRA FIP Tour titles this year: in addition to the aforementioned triumph in China, she also claimed victories at the FIP Bronze tournaments in Cyprus and Prishtina. Koek, meanwhile, reached the top of the podium at the FIP Bronze in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last April. Repeating their recent success will not be easy for the No.1 seeds. Challenging them for the title will be Dora Chamli-Anastasiia Ryzhova. Other pairs to watch include Elisabeth Nogueras-Kotomi Ozawa and Elsa Terranova-Angelina Neizvestnaya.

Leading the men’s draw are Nico Zurita and Miguel Melero. This pair is in the top half of the draw alongside Cristobal Garcia Blanco-Diego Arredondo, Omar Salem-Zar Lasahido and Carlos Marti-Marc Bernils Garcia. In the opposite half are the Dutch pair Julian Prins-Youp De Kroon and Kevin Uriel Kviatkovski-Pablo Landaburu. The latter pair will arrive in Indonesia aiming to replicate the victory they achieved last week in Jakarta. The main draw of this tournament will begin tomorrow, 17 July, and conclude on Sunday, 19 July.
