NextGen show in Palma de Mallorca: all the champions of the Spanish event

The Spanish stage of the FIP Promises Tour, the FIP Promises Palma de Mallorca II, has concluded, with eight pairs taking the titles across the eight draws contested over the weekend. In the Under 18 category, the pair of Leon Ortega Ibanez-Javier Mora Cuart claimed victory: after defeating the tournament’s No. 1 seeds Andres Pablo Ortuno De Pablo-Martin Araguete Sales (6-4 6-2), the two champions beat Toni Villena-Filip Sterner in the final (6-4 7-6). Ortega Ibanez and Mora Cuart dominated throughout the tournament, without dropping a single set to their opponents. In the women’s equivalent category, Maria Martinez Perez-Marta Suner Mas triumphed after defeating Vega Cano Ortin-Celia Martin in the title match (6-2 6-3). The pairs Tilde Stromgren-Marta Alberti Bouza and Maria Sorribes Gimeno-Martina Candelo Casas claimed the titles in the Under 14 and Under 16 categories.
