South African talents shine again, Anverali and Valli claim two titles in Centurion

South African talents were once again in the spotlight in Centurion, which hosted the city’s second FIP Promises event of the year. At Raslouw Corner Padel Club, Fayzaan Anverali and Imaan Valli stood out by winning two titles each, having already been among the leading players at the event held in early May. Anverali, leader of the Ranking FIP Promises Africa Under 16, won the category alongside Zeke Roulstone, as well as the Under 14 title with Ayaaz Omar. Valli, meanwhile, triumphed in the Under 18 girls’ category with Caterina Frazzitta and in the Under 16 alongside Basma Moola, her opponent in the Under 18 final. Valli and Frazzitta therefore remain at the top of the continental Ranking FIP Promises Under 18, while Basma Moola leads the Under 16 girls’ ranking.

 

Among the girls, Lebanese player Amira Saffiedine also stood out, winning the Under 14 title alongside Evelyn Ferguson.
