Benvenutto-Salas Perez pair completes double in Ecuador

MANTA – A dream weekend culminated in a double victory at the FIP Promises Manabi, held in Manta (Ecuador). In the boys’ categories, Vitto Benvenutto and Federico Salas Perez claimed the title in both the Under 16 and Under 14 categories. In the latter, they triumphed over Matias Sebastian Escobar Tufino-Juan Jose Dapelo Villagomez in the final in two sets (6-2 6-0), while in the former they defeated Walter Jose Solorzano Alcivar-Alejandro Buehs in the final, winning 6-3 6-3.

 

There was also a double victory in the girls’ categories. In this case, it was achieved not by a pair, but by a single player alongside two different partners: Marina Ordonez Cedeno. In the girls’ Under 14 category, she played alongside Julieta Maria Castro Gómez, while in the Under 12 category she partnered Martina Salavaria Mieles.
