Graça and Araujo target another victory: the aim in Oeiras is a fourth title of the season at home

OEIRAS – At the beginning of February, they won the FIP Bronze Madeira, followed by victories in Portimão in August (FIP Bronze) and in Lisbona in September (FIP Silver) Now, Portugal’s Peu Araujo and Pedro Graça arrive at FIP Bronze Oeiras with one goal in mind: to claim their fourth title of the season on home soil. To do so, they will have to overcome some competitive pairs, above all the top seeds, Juampi Dametto-Roberto Belmont. Also in the spotlight at this CUPRA FIP Tour event are the pairs Boris Castro-Miguel Morales and Alvaro Lopez-Hector Vazquez.

The women’s draw is headed by Lucia Peralta and Maria Teresa Moriñigo. Peralta has already won four CUPRA FIP Tour events this year, including the prestigious FIP Gold San Luis in Mexico. Moriñigo, meanwhile, is still seeking her first title of the year on the circuit. The next seeds are the Portuguese pairs Andrea Battle-Ana Catarina Nogueira, Paula Ferran-Susana Martin Marin and Natalia Molinilla-Ainize Santamaria. The main draw of the tournament will begin on Friday 16 October and conclude on Sunday 18 October, when the semi-finals and finals are scheduled to take place.
