Kuwaiti talents take centre stage in Beirut: double title for Zainal and Almazeedi

BEIRUT – Winning a title in a weekend is an achievement, but claiming two is something even more special. Two Kuwaiti players, Sayed Hashem Almazeedi and Yaqoub Zainal, know that well: after winning the Under 16 title together, they each claimed another title at the FIP Promises United Petroleum Lebanon. Zainal triumphed in the Under 14 category alongside Abdulrahman Bineedan, while Almazeedi took the Under 18 title with Rashid Walid. The FIP Promises Tour weekend in Lebanon also saw a home victory in the boys’ Under 12 category for Karim Adra-Ghassan Zakhem. In the only girls’ draw, the Under 12 category, Scarlett Nassif-Julia Obeid claimed the title.
