Martinez-López in the spotlight in Denmark. Fernandez-Sanchez set their sights on the throne

TAASTRUP – There will be plenty of action in Denmark as the main draws of the FIP Bronze Dbc Coffee Copenhagen get under way. The women’s draw is led by Nati Lopez and Aida Martinez. The pair have already shown that they can win together, claiming the FIP Bronze El Prat title in Spain in mid-August. The main contenders for the title are second seeds Maria Portillo-Xenia Clasca Vidiella. Also in the spotlight are Marisol Fernandez and Ana Cristina Sanchez, winners of the FIP Bronze Playa this year. In 2026, Fernandez has also claimed the FIP Silver Lisbon and FIP Bronze Sassuolo titles. Among the pairs to watch at this CUPRA FIP Tour event are Paula Ferran-Susanna Martina.

The men’s draw also promises plenty of action on court. Gonzalo Rubio stands out as the most successful player in the history of the circuit, with 17 titles, ahead of Jose Luis Gonzalez, Marco Cassetta and Flavio Abbate, all on 16. The Spaniard will play alongside Álvaro Meléndez in Denmark. Alejandro Garcia Calahorro will arrive at the tournament on the back of the first CUPRA FIP Tour title of his career, won last week at the FIP Bronze in Almeirim, Portugal, alongside Iago Fuertes. This time, Garcia Calahorro will partner Fran Jurado. Also in focus are Sten Richters-Albin Olsson and Pedro Perry-Pau Miñano.
