Olsson and Richters crowned champions in Copenhagen. Success for Martinez-Lopez in the women’s event

COPENHAGEN – A Dutchman and a Swede have claimed the title in Denmark. Sten Richters and Albin Olsson won the FIP Bronze Dbc Coffee Copenhagen. After defeating Alejandro Calvo and Exequiel Mourino in a closely contested semi-final, which ended 5-7, 6-4, 7-6, they beat Javi Collantes and Asier Martinez 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in the final. In 2026, Richters has won the FIP Bronze titles in Melbourne and Tbilisi (Georgia). Olsson has also won the FIP Bronze Slovenia title this year. “We did it,” said Richters. “After winning several hard-fought three-set matches, we reached the final and managed to claim the title in Copenhagen this weekend. We really enjoyed playing this tournament and greatly appreciated all the support we received.”

In the women’s draw, Nati Lopez and Aida Martinez claimed the title with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 victory over Maria Portillo and Xenia Clasca Vidiella in the final. The champions had beaten Marisol Fernandez and Ana Cristina Sanchez in the semi-finals. The title in Denmark was not the pair’s only success this season: together, they also won the FIP Bronze El Prat in Spain at the end of August. “Champions in Copenhagen,” said Lopez. “We never stop striving for the best.”
