Mediolanum Padel Cup Palermo, Maxi Sanchez and Alex Ruiz are the stars in Sicily

After Rome, Palermo hosts the second Italian stage of the FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup. The CUPRA FIP Tour arrives in Sicily, with the presence of world padel stars such as Alex Ruiz and Maxi Sanchez, ranked 22nd and 28th respectively in the FIP rankings, excellent additions to a men’s tournament that has Gonzalo Rubio and Javi Ruiz as the number 2 seeds and sees the participation, among others, of Flavio Abbate and Marco Cassetta, the latter being the leader in the all-time ranking of the most successful players in the history of the CUPRA FIP Tour.

In the women’s draw, Italian Giorgia Marchetti and Spanish Barbara Las Heras lead a high-level entry list, with Sofia Saiz and Marina Lobo seeded number 2 and Ana Dominguez and Aida Martinez completing the podium.

A weekend not to be missed at the Country Time Club, with 80 points in the FIP rankings up for grabs for the winning pairs.
